Wait—what is O-Jak Bridge Art & Dance Festival?

The O-Jak Bridge Art & Dance Festival is a multidisciplinary arts festival in Seattle that brings together dance, visual art, music, and cultural storytelling.
Founded in 2022, O-Jak is now entering its 5th year, growing into a vibrant annual platform for artists across cultures and disciplines. The festival features diverse choreographers, visual artists, and performers from the Seattle community and beyond.
Each year, O-Jak presents an immersive, story-driven experience that blends contemporary and traditional elements, building a bridge between cultures, artistic forms, and audiences.

“O-Jak” refers to “Ojakgyo, a bridge from a Korean folktale where magpies and crows form a bridge in the sky to reunite two separated lovers. It symbolizes connection—bringing together what was once apart.
Like this story, O-Jak is a day when we come together—crossing boundaries between artistic disciplines and bridging Eastern and Western cultures—to meet, connect, and celebrate through art.
